Job Title: Unix Systems Engineer

As a seasoned Unix Systems Engineer, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our organization's IT infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Install, monitor, and upgrade Linux/Unix system software on company servers and computers
  • Create and maintain Unix user accounts and access management systems
  • Develop and implement standardized backup and recovery policies
  • Implement and manage security policies to protect against potential threats
  • Apply patches and upgrades to ensure system stability and reliability
  • Collaborate with other teams to integrate Unix-based systems with other technologies
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Extensive knowledge of Linux/Unix operating systems and their applications
  • Experience with system administration, including user account management and access control
  • Proficiency in scripting languages such as Bash or Python
  • Ability to analyze complex system issues and develop effective solutions
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
