Responsibilities
- Provide administrative support to Head/ALC and department staff.
- To manage the financial matters, such as procurement, budget, claims etc in the department, ensuring compliance with NTU financial policies and guidelines.
- To support matters related to Part-time Lecturers/Practicum Supervisor, Visiting Scholars and research staff.
- To provide support for the programmes offered by the department.
- To handle examination-related matters.
- Support key events such as the Teachers’ Investiture Ceremony (TIC), NTU Convocation and ALC special events.
- To manage the assets in the department.
- To oversee the submission of information to the admin departments for travels by ALC staff and students on learning journeys.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- A Polytechnic Diploma in Business Administration, or related field.
- 1 to 3 years of working experience in an administrative role.
- Good communication skills, both written and oral.
- Able to work individually and collaborate with others as a team.
- Good organisational and planning skills.
- Independent and possess strong multi-tasking abilities.
- Meticulous and attentive to details.
- A good team player who works well with various stakeholders.
- Ability to work well under pressure and within tight deadlines.
- Familiarity with digital tools and an ability to leverage technology for process optimisation.
