**MISSIONS**
Under the authority of the principal education advisers, the education assistant participates in the supervision and educational and pedagogical monitoring of the pupils. His/her missions are carried out with obligations of ethics, reserve and neutrality.

**RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Enforcing common rules of life
- Supervising and supervise students during inter-course, half-board and recess times and during duty hours.
- Controlling student entry and exit
- Managing and follow up on absences, lateness, punishments and sanctions
- Providing educational and pedagogical support for pupils: support and tutoring
- Supervising Saturday morning deductions
- Participating in school events: organisation and help with setting up and supervising students.
- Carrying out administrative tasks such as secretarial, clerical, writing or filing work related to the department's activity
- Performing any other task that may be assigned by the supervisor

**SKILLS, ABILITY AND REQUIRED FORMATION**
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent level required
- Holder of the full BAFA or BAFA equivalent (STAPS, BAAPAT licence, etc)
- Experience in the field of childhood, adolescence and animation
- Knowing the rules of procedure and enforcing them
- Know the safety rules
- Getting to know the students individually
- Observe and direct the dynamics between adolescents
- Managing Conflict Situations
- Working constructively as a team
- Be rigorous, available and caring
- Know how to manage stress and be reactive
- Be diligent and punctual
- Creating a climate of trust and listening
- Demonstrate dynamism and initiative
- Have a good knowledge of computer tools (word, excel, pronounce,...)

**WORKING CONDITIONS**
- Full-time position (38 hours/week)
- Compensation based on experience and the LFS salary scale
- 14 weeks of annual leave during school holidays (all school holidays minus 2 administrative weeks)
