**Job Purpose**:
Implement best regional/global category specific strategies. Activities include IT & Telecoms product/service sourcing, supplier selection, pricing/terms negotiation, order processing, contract administration, and supplier performance management, identify and recommend ´best in class´ suppliers and maintain good relationships with those within the scope. Maintain and extend business partner relationships on regional and global level.

**Your main tasks will be**:

- Provide professional, end-to-end RFx IT & Telecoms sourcing support for key business initiatives, supply market research / intelligence to support business decisions in investments and budgets and establishment of global, regional or sub-regional contracts. The sourcing activities include all IT categories, IT Software, IT Consulting, IT Hardware, Cloud and Telecommunication
- Strategic management of global and regional business relations with the CIO areas of the divisions and their IT key accounts and develop deep understanding of key business partners strategy, demands and challenges. Identification of strategic sourcing opportunities and extension of business partner relationships are key
- Active supplier management and development in the highly complex supplier and business environment, in particular building, developing and managing resilient business relationships with DPDHL Group's external strategic suppliers
- Carrying out sourcing processes with strategic importance for the group both regionally and cross-regionally
- Successful and sustainable value contribution and realization of savings that contribute to the corporate success of the divisions
- Coordination and consolidation of the needs of different divisions, countries and regions, especially with regard to common requirements and specifications
- Manage larger complexity of specialized contracts and new contract types (e.g. proof-of-concepts with startups, regional frame agreements)
- Implementation of global and regional framework agreements under time-critical conditions
- Development, coordination and implementation of regional sourcing strategies
- Provide leadership and guidance to the sourcing teams in the countries and align closely with the global category management teams
- Implementing and ensuring adherence to procurement and compliance guidelines
- Creating market analyses

**Your profile should look like**:

- Masters or Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience/qualification 3+ years of relevant experience
- Additional qualification such as MBA, is an added advantage
- 10+ years of relevant working experience, with more than 3 years in large scale and complex IT sourcing initiatives
- Project management and supplier management experience preferred
- Proven track record in managing projects and leading negotiations of mid/large volume, high impact and with different degrees of complexity
- Knowledge and proven experience of contract management and risk management
- Willingness and ability to travel
- Working in an international, matrixed environment
- Cross-functional mix in IT, telecommunication, procurement and project management
