Roles & Responsibilities

Sales Engineer (Variable Speed Drive)

Gross: $3,500 - $5,500

5 days; 830am-5:30pm (official), pandemic time (additional 2 slots: 7:45am-4:30pm & 9:45am-6:30pm)

Location: Serangoon

Penetrate and develop new markets and business opportunities in HVAC and Water Industry to consultants, contractors and developers for Low Voltage Variable Speed Drives (VSD) and Passive & Active Harmonics Filter.
- Establish new customer relationships and expand current customer base to drive and achieve higher sales targets of Low Voltage VSD in the assigned market segment.
- Require to prepare product presentation, technical documentation, compliance list and related documents and work closely with deal team on project pre-bid specification for consultants.
- Coordinate & follow-up with tender awards with contractors, prepare & submit quotations and monitor closely for closure.
- Work with sales support team on project management to ensure delivery, datelines and customer satisfactions are met.
- Gather market information on customer’s activities, projects and develop sales plan & submit pipeline forecast, sales progress and consultants visit report plan to Sales Manager.
- Develop sales strategies for consultants, contractors and developers approach and implement sales project plans to achieve company growth sales targets and profit margins.
- Conduct competitors’ analysis and the activities in the territory.
- Prepare monthly report for Management review.
**Job Requirements**:

- Degree/Diploma in Electrical Engineering or related technical discipline
- Possess good technical knowledge of Low Voltage VSD and Passive & Active Harmonics Filter. Project management skill is an added advantage
- At least 5 years related sales experience in the same industry in which minimum 3 years in handling LV VSD and Passive & Active Harmonies Filter
- Possess prior experience working with consultants/contractors/developers to actively interact and engage with them to understand their needs, translate the requirements into suitable solution during project tender stage
- Have good contact & network with consultants/contractors in related HVAC/Water/Data center Industry
- Proven sales record of accomplishment in VSD in HVAC/Water industry
- Keep abreast of the industrial market trends
- Highly motivated, dynamic, self-driven and a team player with leadership ability
- Strong customer focus and results-oriented
- Resourceful with ability to work with people of multi-cultural and cross function teams
- Good presentation & negotiation skills
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
