**JOB DESCRIPTION**
I. Finance
- Keying in of donation transactions into donation software, issuance of donation receipts and thank you letters to donors
- Prepare month-end closing statement for income
- Maintain petty cash
- Settle invoices from vendors and other claims
- Prepare Profit and Loss Statement for fundraising events/projects
- Balancing of Tax-Deductible Receipts at end of month and submission to IRAS via My Tax Portal
II. Support to Fundraising
- Data mining and data selection for fundraising campaigns
- Research for new donors and supporters (corporate and individuals)
- Support logístical work such as procuring and maintaining envelope inventory, mass mailing, getting quotations for services or products
- Maintain good relations with existing donors and supporters of the Home
III. Others
- Maintain donors in kind database and filings (inventories, invoices, memos and forms)
- Assist in handling of donation in kind such as food / groceries and attending to the visits of donors
- Assist in maintaining storeroom for groceries
- Assist in food coordination for Residents ( if need arises ) and staff meetings/management committee meetings (liaise with caterers)
- Assist in preparing and pack groceries for Residents’ home leave if any (includes monthly groceries for needy ex-Residents and their families)
- Assist in arranging deliveries or collection of items (to and from donors, partners etc)
- Provide support to events organised by other institutions
**REQUIREMENTS**:
- Basic knowledge in bookkeeping and income and expense statement preferred
- Minimum qualification : Certificate / Diploma in Accounting/Finance or equivalent
- Meticulous in handling finance matters
- Able to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- Enjoys meeting people
- Able to multitask and work independently
