Position Summary:
As a **Business Unit Manager** with experience working within a manufacturing/consultancy service environment, you will be responsible to **grow and develop TRIGO’s service business with Automotive, Aerospace & Heavy transportation customers **in South-East Asia. You will be working closely with our customers to understand their unique quality engineering challenges and goals and offer our tailored solution to help them improve their supply chain performance.
**Responsibilities**:
**Sales, Key account & financial management**
- Growing and developing your business unit (designing your business plan and strategy with mid-size and major accounts in the Automotive, Aerospace & Heavy Transportation manufacturing market).
- Own the sales process from prospecting, qualifying, conducting service presentation, to contract negotiation & close of sale.
- Draft technical and commercial proposals, in coordination with the relevant department; Respond to calls for tenders in a project mode.
- Creating new business leads through networking and closing business with key customers.
- Expand the relationships with existing customers by continuously proposing solutions that meet their objectives.
- Managing your business unit financial performance and profitability (P&L, budgeting, forecasting).
- Prepare regular reports of business progress and forecasts to internal stakeholders using key account metrics.
- Interact effectively with other internal departments, especially the technical teams, when engaging with clients and when implementing your consulting/engineering projects.
**Operation, Project & Team development**
- Managing and following up project deliveries to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Administrative management and supervision of a team of engineering consultants.
- Recruiting your consultants (engineers, technicians) and being responsible for their career evolution (annual review, regular follow-up, training ).
- Leadership in identifying and building long-term mutually beneficial relationship with external consultants & engineering experts (external consultants, freelancers) and potential business partners in Asia.
- Playing an active & consulting role to our recruitment team to optimize our attracting policy
Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills and Abilities):
- 2 years of technical and/or commercial experience in an industrial environment (preferably in Automotive, Aerospace, Ground Transportation, Energy)
- Bachelors or master's degree in Engineering, Management or Business administration.
- Track record in business development and selling B2B consultancy solutions with manufacturers.
- Exposure in managing a P&L with ability in financial and budgetary processes.
- Experience in recruitment of engineers; experience in leading teams is an advantage.
