**Overview of role**

You will be responsible for the management of the Singapore Fund Operation team’s performance and objectives, and develop and exercise business plans, policies, projects and procedures to improve the effectiveness of the team operations. As the Head of Fund Operations, Singapore, you will provide necessary APAC leadership in global initiatives.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Establish operational procedures with Trustee, Registrar, Distributors and Internal stake holders for new Fund launches and to coordinate any changes in operations processes where applicable
- Manage counterparties and service providers’ relationships and monitor to ensure proper controls of their performance in line with internal policies
- Conduct regular reviews of SLAs and procedure manual
- Oversight and ownership of the team’s operational risk profile
- Conduct objectives setting and appraisal for the team in collaboration with the team leaders
- Develop potentials and manage career expectations of team members
- Responsible for the training and development of team to build up succession of roles in the team
- Manage projects and prioritize initiatives
- Ensure the team’s overall delivery to stakeholders
- Engage in day-to-day operations

**Essential Skills**
- At least 15 years of experience in fund operations in an investment management firm
- Proven experience in managing and leading a team with 5 years in a leadership capacity
- Strong understanding of operational risks and control frameworks
- Strong advocate of continuous improvement in quality and delivery of the team
- Effective communication skills, written, presentational and verbal
- Experience in managing relationships with service providers
