The person will be a part of Communications and Marketing who is responsible for developing and executing brand strategies that drive brand awareness, loyalty, and equity. The incumbent will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure that brand activities align with the NCSS' objectives and goals. The Brand Manager will also manage creative shared services and monitor market/sector trends to make data-driven recommendations for brand improvements and innovations.

The Brand Manager plays a critical role in ensuring that NCSS' brand image, messaging, and positioning are aligned with the NCSS' objectives and goals. The incumbent should be a creative self-starter, comfortable working in a dynamic environment, and able to balance competing demands. The role requires strong communications expertise, analytical skills, and a audience-focused mindset. The incumbent should also have experience managing creative shared services to ensure the delivery of high-quality creative assets that align with brand guidelines and standards.

**Key Responsibilities and Activities**
- Develop and execute brand strategies that drive brand awareness, loyalty, and equity
- Manage and enhance the NCSS’ brand image, messaging, and positioning across all channels and touchpoints
- Develop and maintain a deep understanding of the sector landscape, including competitors, trends, and consumer insights
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including campaigns & partnership and strategic communications & media management, to ensure that brand activities align with NCSS' objectives and goals
- Develop and manage brand budgets, timelines and deliverables
- Develop and implement brand guidelines and standards, ensuring consistency across all brand touchpoints
- Measure and report on the effectiveness of brand activities, making data-driven recommendations for improvements and innovations
- Manage relationships with external partners, including creative agencies, media partners, and vendors
- Manage creative shared services, including graphic design, copywriting, and video production
- Collaborate with creative shared services to develop and execute high-quality creative assets that align with brand guidelines and standards
- Manage creative shared services budgets, timelines, and deliverables

**KPIs**
- Establish brand strategy and hierarchy for NCSS and sub-brands
- Implementation of approved brand strategy
- Brand Awareness: Measure the effectiveness of social media engagement, and website traffic to determine the level of awareness of the brand among the target audience.
- Market Share: Track the brand's market share against competitors and overall industry trends to determine how the brand is performing in its category.
- Brand Equity: Measure the brand's overall value, including its reputation, perceived quality, and relevance, to determine how well it is resonating with the target audience.
- Social Media Engagement: Measure the engagement rates on social media platforms, such as likes, comments, and shares, to determine how well the brand's content is resonating with its audience.
- Efficiency and effectiveness of Creative Shared Services

Personal Competencies:

- Excellent communication, writing, and interpersonal skills
- Strong project management and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines

Skills & Knowledge:

- At least 4 years of relevant work experience in brand development and/or brand management
- Proven experience as a brand manager or similar role
- Strong understanding of branding principles, strategies, and best practices
- Good understanding of brand campaigns and initiatives, including advertising, public relations, events, and sponsorships
- Familiarity with market research and consumer insights tools and methodologies
- Strong analytical skills and ability to translate data into actionable insights

**Experience**:
Minimum 4 years’ experience in brand development and/or brand management
