WWF-Singapore is looking for a Volunteer Engagement Executive to join the Individual Fundraising, Marketing and Membership team

In this role you will deliver an important cross functioning and support function to improve the experience of volunteers through the development of holistic engagement activities, to steward and grow WWF’s volunteer community by improving all lifecycle touchpoints. You will manage our volunteer recruitment, onboarding, engagement, management and retention.

You will also work very closely with the Education & Outreach and local conservation teams to develop opportunities, activities and new ways of engaging and stewarding volunteers. You will play a critical role in finding and developing committed and constructive volunteer leaders and supporting them in building their volunteer groups. This position will also curate content to recruit and engage volunteers in online and offline channels.

**Major Duties and Responsibilities**
- Cultivate a strong community of supporters into advocates and ambassadors of WWF
- Development and implementation of recruitment and retention strategy for volunteers and reactivation strategy for passive volunteers
- Oversee the selection process and complete the onboarding of volunteers when applicable
- Recruit volunteers for various programs and events through outreach, networking, and online platforms
- Develop a volunteer recognition programme with the line manager
- Create content and assets for volunteer engagement including EDM’s, Telegram, games, talks etc.
- Support in running volunteer engagement sessions (in-person and/or virtual)
- Manage any legal requirements such as volunteer forms and collaboration agreements
- Develop and maintain relationships with volunteers, ensuring that they feel valued and appreciated for their contributions
- Support WWF-Singapore by mobilising volunteer support and supervising its ongoing community activities such as nature guiding, clean-up events, corporate workshops, school talks, fundraising events etc. whenever needed
- Work with various WWF-Singapore teams to identify and develop volunteer roles to match the organizations business objectives and assists in creating role descriptions to articulate the volunteer responsibilities
- Liaise with various WWF-Singapore teams, donors, partners on volunteer activities and engagement
- Manage and keep up to date the volunteer database
- Work closely with the communications team to ensure any outgoing communication follows brand guidelines, tone, local policy and is appropriately approved.
- Stay up-to-date with best practices in volunteer engagement and management, and make recommendations for improvements to the program

**Required Qualifications, Skills and Competencies**:

- Diploma or Degree in Marketing, Events Management, Public Relations, Communications, Management, Business, Environmental, Biological Science, or related fields.
- Experience in volunteer management - experience with local grassroots organisations or community groups working closely with volunteers will be an advantage
- Experience in marketing/communications and content development
- Experience in working to build communities and relationships with external stakeholders
- Experience in planning, hosting and implementing events
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and engage volunteers from diverse backgrounds
- Experience in database management is highly desirable but not essential
- Experience in graphic design is desirable but not essential
- Pleasant and courteous disposition with strong communication skills
- Works well in teams and displays initiative to get things done in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment.
- Comfortable working onsite for field activities and online for virtual engagements.
- Must be able to work on weekends and public holidays when necessary (Off in lieu will be given in exchange for working outside of official working hours)
