Currently recruiting for an APAC Medical Affairs Director to work for this Medical Device organization focusing on the Ophthalmology space.
- This is a leadership position reporting into global and includes direct people management of a team of experienced Medical Affairs professional located across APAC and when I say APAC, this is all of APAC including China, Japan, ANZ and India.
- You will be responsible for setting the regional strategy, this is a new role for the company so there is no real APAC strategy in place, you will help define it for their strong portfolio and existing products and upcoming launches. This role will also form part of the APAC SLT.
- **The Medical Affairs Director will be responsible for**:

- Advise operational function of medical affairs in the region to achieve key regional and organizational objectives.
- Represent the regional voice of medical affairs and align medical strategy with commercial objectives.
- Support regional product launches and in-market products through KOL engagement, advisory boards, and evidence generation strategies, collaborating with Medical Safety for safe product use.

**The Medical Affairs Director will be/have**:

- Relevant medical affairs experience in Ophthalmology (must have)
- Team management or supervisory experience
- Degree qualified
