**Location**: This is a remote role based in Southeast Asia & outside of Singapore

**What you will do**:

- Design and build scalable REST APIs for Oddle platform and other microservices
- Improve and optimize the performance of infrastructure and database
- Implementation of security and data protection
- Write clean, human-readable code and improve code quality
- Collaborate with client side developers to integrate user-facing elements with server side logic
- Improve system with relevant emerging technologies
- Provide training & support to junior members of the team

**Technical requirements**:

- At least 2 years experience in Java with Spring Framework and Hibernate ORM
- Experience with Relational Databases and SQL
- Experience with API and Framework Design and third-party API integration
- Experience with Client Side and Infrastructure/Devops work with AWS is a plus

**Desired soft skills and attributes**:

- Strong Command of English and good communication skills
- Team player and a hands-on engineer.
- Self-awareness and a desire to improve continually
- Hungry for learning and always up-to-date with new technologies

**What to look-out for**
- Familiar with Cloud Tech is a plus - AWS, Google Cloud, Microsoft etc
- Recent Projects, Has used Spring & Hibernate in them
- Best Case - Exp with API Integration, Multi-tenancy projects
