Backend Developer

RabbitX is a powerful decentralised perpetual futures exchange built on Starknet. RabbitX is truly global in scale, with team members from almost every continent in the world, and building a platform for anyone, anywhere. RabbitX technology enables people to trade and invest in cryptocurrencies with transparency of assets.

We are looking for a fantastic backend engineer to join us and contribute to a true rocketship product, building our exchange backend infrastructure and API services.

Here is how you will be contributing:

- You will be working on our core backend system infrastructure as well as API services to ensure a highly performant and robust exchange
- Work closely with the frontend development team to provide stable API interfaces and data interaction
- Optimize system performance and response speed, address system bottlenecks and other performance issues
- Work on implementing and testing new features that will supercharge growth
- Maintain and improve API documentation

Our technologies:
We are building a high performance microservice based product, with tarantool as a database at its core. Languages that we are using: Go, Lua, React, Typescript, Solidity

What we are building:

- We are building a ultra low-latency derivatives exchange on Ethereum
- There are requirements for scalability, speed and general ACID parameters
- We are working with A LOT of data

**Requirements**:

- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science from a reputable University
- 4+ years of working experience in Golang and API server experience
- Good knowledge of databases and data stores (PostgreSQL etc)
- Good analytical skills and problem solving skills
- Able to work with changing variables in a fast paced environment
- Experience in a crypto set up a plus
