Process Engineer

With our extensive range of facilities and environments, our Engineers have opportunities across many diverse areas including Biological, Chemical, Automation, Capital Projects, Maintenance, Safety, Process Development, Technical Services, Utilities and Validation.

**WHAT YOU WILL DO**

In this role, your responsibilities include the below:

- Provide daily Process Engineering Support on Pressure Relief Device (PRD) assessment & sizing for manufacturing plants to meet Safety, Quality and Compliance objectives.
- Collect the relevant documentation to justify and support the sizing of the assigned PRD.
- Conduct site verification to ensure the system to be assess is as per drawing & site installation.
- Understand the function (Unit Operation) & prepare the System Diagram for the system needed for the assessment.
- Read and understand the Engineering standards needed for the sizing
- Proceed with sizing of PRDs till completion and ready for installation
- Work with PRDs and other equipment suppliers on relevant information needed for the sizing. Including Requestion for quotation etc.
- Work with Project team for final installation.
- On a need basis, to assist the plant on Incident Investigation and remediation on the findings

You will be trained on all the necessary SOP or standards before you are given any assignment.

In addition, there will be awareness training on related topics to improve & enhance the knowledge & skill of the Engineers.

After one year, you will:

- develop an awareness of Engineering and Compliance standards through assigned tasks and training. Expected to be performing required process support activities through site change control process, facilitate equipment failure investigations of quality deviations, support incident investigations, PHA study facilitations and PSM support activities.

**WHAT YOU MUST HAVE**

To be successful in this role, you will have:

- Bachelor’s Degree in chemical or Chemical Process Engineering with 2 to 3 years of working experience.
- Possess independent and “Can do” attitude
- Creative and the ability to think outside the box
- Eagerness & appetite to want to learn more and willingness to improve
