**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Plant Process Safety**:Ensure compliance with MHI regulations, manage safety cases, and oversee updates on plant process safety.
- **Budget Management**: Supervise and control ESH budget and expenditure, authorize procurement of consumables and equipment.
- **Compliance Assurance**: Ensure compliance with legal, regulatory, and stakeholder requirements, including support for major shutdown activities, maintenance of legal registers, and coordination of annual assessments.
- **SOP Management**: Develop and manage ESH-related work procedures and standard operating procedures (SOPs), handling ad hoc tasks as necessary.
- **Stakeholder Communication**: Engage with internal and external stakeholders on ESH matters, liaise with authorities for licensing regimes and modifications related to hazardous substances, and conduct incident investigations.
- **Training and Development**: Supervise and coordinate all ESH training within the company, both external and internal, and oversee staff development to ensure optimal competency.

**Job Requirements**:

- Minimum 5 years of relevant working experience, with at least 3 years in a similar capacity.
- Bachelor's degree in Environmental, Safety, and Health (ESH) or Chemical Engineering, or equivalent.
- Level C WSH competency certification, certified in confined space assessor / WAH Assessor, and certified in Biz Safe level 2.
- Experience in vendor management and ISO management, as well as liaising with government authorities.
- Strong people management skills to achieve section's KPIs, and knowledge of ISO 45000, SS651 & 14000.
- Ability to conduct risk assessments, lead accident investigations, and working knowledge of ACTA framework.
