WWF’s vision is a future where all palm oil is produced without causing deforestation, the conversion of natural ecosystems, environmental degradation or the harming wildlife. It should also be produced in a manner which treats workers fairly, respects the rights of local communities and indigenous people, and incentivises and empowers producers including smallholder farmers with the means to adopt more responsible production practices as a part of sustainable livelihoods. Where palm oil is produced, the wellbeing of people, wildlife, and habitats should be protected and enhanced at a landscape level, and negative impacts should be mitigated and not displaced elsewhere.
**Major Functions**:
The ICT Support Assistant will be responsible for providing support for all end user products & services to ensure that the day-to-day IT requirements of the office are met. The ICT Support Assistant must also acquire and document technical expertise & knowledge required to ensure effective use of all supported end user products & services.
**Major Duties and Responsibilities**:
- Provides timely and effective first line advice, onsite & remote support to all staff in IT end user matters in accordance with ICT policies and procedures of the office.
- Proactively maintain and manage availability of all end user IT products & services
- Provide “How-to” assistance to facilitate effective use of end user IT products & services
- Liaise with vendors and third party support for maintenance & servicing of end user IT products & services
- Coordinate user account administration, activation, changes, and terminations.
- Perform ICT Onboarding & Offboarding of staff
- Any other duties related as assigned by ICT Manager
**Required qualifications**
- Min. Higher Nitec in IT related discipline or higher
- Fresh graduates or current part-time students of IT related disciplines are welcome to apply
- IT related work experience is advantageous but not necessary
