To run such an extraordinary store, it takes extraordinary people, and we are looking for someone to help us do extraordinary things. The Manager, Digital Commerce Project Management & Localization oversees a team of Project Managers responsible for delivery of high-quality, locally relevant, accurate content and product data on the Apple Online Stores, Apple Store App, and ancillary platforms. This position represents the Project Management and Localization functions in the Asia/Pacific region by brokering collaborations, owning quality of deliverables and handoff structures, and ensuring standard methodologies/processes are in place. This includes leading regional project intake and capacity management, as well as reporting on regional team utilization, vendor quality, and program health to broader cross-functional leaders.
**Description**
Lead a team of highly skilled Digital Commerce Project Managers to support the launch and maintenance of Apple online stores and 3rd party marketplaces by coordinating the handoff and execution of digital commerce through various partners and internal teams. Support project management and localization objectives and process improvement plans that ensure scalability and long term excellence in delivering a flawless digital customer experience.
- Build and maintain relationships with new and existing internal and external partners, coordinating projects and handoffs with Regional teams across Readiness, Marcom, Commercial Marketing, Digital Merchandising and other groups.
- Manage conversations with key partners to determine feasibility and resourcing requirements as well as provide guidance and risk mitigation for project escalations and shifts.
- Identify and implement innovations that embrace new technologies and methodologies in the Localization and Project Management industries to enhance workflows and align with business growth objectives.
- Champion project management tools like Wrike to support robust intake and resourcing workflows that reflect data integrity in capacity management and utilization reporting.
**Minimum Qualifications**
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience.
- 7+ years of working in digital or e-commerce project management.
- 3+ years leading a team of individual contributors.
- Demonstrated achievement in managing high-impact, international and hyper-local digital projects.
**Preferred Qualifications**
- Previous tech e-commerce experience.
- Ability to read and communicate in Mandarin.
- Experience managing agency and vendor teams from afar.Familiarity with local, digital marketplaces and emerging commerce platforms and content management systems.
