**Position Overview**:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Early Years Educational Therapist who is passionate about working with children aged 3-8 years who have developmental and learning challenges such as Global Developmental Delay (GDD), dyspraxia, dyslexia, and difficulties with literacy and numeracy.

**Responsibilities**:

- Conduct initial assessments and develop individualized educational plans for children with learning delays.
- Implement structured learning programs, including phonics-based interventions, the Lindamood-Bell Learning Processes, and the Visualizing and Verbalizing program.
- Provide personalized instruction in reading, writing, and math to children who are struggling to acquire these essential skills.
- Monitor and document student progress, adjusting teaching methods and materials to meet individual learning needs.
- Foster a supportive and engaging learning environment where children feel encouraged and motivated.
- Collaborate with parents, teachers, and other professionals to develop comprehensive strategies to support each child’s educational journey.
- Keep abreast of the latest educational research and practices related to learning delays and disabilities, integrating them into teaching methods where appropriate.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor’s degree in Special Education, Educational Psychology, or a related field; a Master’s degree is considered an asset.
- Certification or specialization in teaching methods for students with learning delays (such as Orton-Gillingham, Lindamood-Bell, etc.).
- Proven experience working with young children with learning delays and disabilities.
- Strong understanding of early childhood development and specific pedagogical approaches for addressing learning challenges.
- Proficient in conducting educational assessments and tailoring instruction to meet individual learning needs.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with children and families.A reflective practitioner, open to feedback and dedicated to continuous professional development.
