We are currently seeking a high calibre professional to join our team as a **Senior Associate, TFS SG Trust Advisory.**

**Principal Responsibilities**
- Functionally report to Global Head of Trust Advisory, and on an entity level will report to the SG FSU Head
- Primary responsibility is to provide support to the Head of TFS SG and the TFS Global Head of Trust Advisory. The principal role will be to support the trust administration teams in SG concerning matters of investments around fiduciary responsibility and risk. and maintaining that these are appropriately governed and controlled within the business
- Management of the SG FIA role providing consultation to Front Office staff, reviewing investment objectives and liaising with investment advisors / managers accordingly
- Preparation and presentation for the periodic TIRC meeting and Investment Performance Review
- Representing the views of the SG business to the Global Head of Trust Advisory when setting policies and procedures
- Attend client governance meetings to support Front Office
- Supporting Trust Advisory initiatives from SG and acting as a liaison between SG teams and the Global Head of Trust Advisory. Initiatives will be from the various teams within Trust Advisory (Special Projects, Products, Tax). These will vary over changing regulatory and legal environment and the job holder will need a general understanding of these fields and be able to adjust to the project management and reporting, communication, or training as the case may be
- Close liaison with other Group Functions in SG is imperative to effectively carry out the responsibilities of the role supporting Compliance, Tax, Legal
- Keep abreast of market developments through engagement with Wealth Planning & Advisory and ensure client propositions are updated where applicable to TFS SG to meet changing market and legal/regulatory conditions
- Review and update, from a SG perspective, documentation pertaining to the services offered by TFS
- Be an effective member relevant governance meetings
- Demonstrate strong HSBC values, and uphold and promote the image of the business, including the delivery of fair outcomes for clients
Requirements
- Excellent knowledge of trust and wealth structuring as well as common risks and issues affecting trust companies including management and oversight of trust investments - both financial and non-financial
- Strong knowledge of trust law and legislation and regulations, codes and guidelines relevant to private trust business.
- Highly effective verbal and written communications and interpersonal skills
- Self-driven and resourceful, with a can-do attitude with a proven ability to triage and prioritise
- To be considered for this role, the relevant rights to work in Singapore is required.
