TF’s programmes, made possible through philanthropic endowments gifted by Temasek, strive towards achieving positive outcomes for individuals and communities now, and for generations to come.
Having healthy and trusted media relations will enable TF to achieve good and appropriate social and developmental outcomes and impact for each community TF is involved in, both in and outside Singapore. In this respect, TF will be growing its Media Relations, Engagements and Partnerships team to operationalise a new **_M _**edia **_E _**ffectiveness and **_E _**ngagement for **_T _**_F _( **_MEET _**) Platform to develop new partnerships, alliances and collaborations aimed at media institutions, leaders and professionals in Singapore, in Asia, and beyond.
**Responsibilities**
Reporting to the Senior Director overseeing Media Relations, Engagements and Partnerships, the Associate Director is responsible for, but not limited to, the following areas:
1. Conceptualising and rolling out activities and initiatives to achieve **_MEET _**’s three key objectives: build relationships, create networks, and reach out to new and previously unengaged media groups and institutions; with a bigger intent to build brand awareness for TF and build trust with the media sector in and outside Singapore.
2. Creating other effective media engagement platforms and organising media relations activities to engage a spectrum of media professionals ranging from aspiring media executives, young media leaders, mid-career and senior journalists to editors, publishers and other leaders, including vernacular media, digital and new media, as well as social media content creators and influencers.
3. Curating a series of engagement opportunities and platforms to promote right and relevant media values, ethics and integrity issues, especially for the next generation of media professionals, practitioners and users.
4. Keeping abreast of impending trends and future challenges, such as the impact of of technological advancements and disruptions, that will affect media relations, engagements and partnerships for TF.
5. Seeking opportunities to collaborate with potential partners as well as foster greater mutual respect and trust with TF media programme alumni and other professionals within the media ecosystem in and outside Singapore.
**Requirements**:
- Degree in any discipline, preferably with specialisations in communications and media;
- Minimum 10 years of relevant working experience, preferasbly with regional exposure;
- Possesses strong relational and organisational skills to plan, curate, and operationalise media programmes and platforms;
- Takes initiative, and remains flexible, objective, dependable and focused on deliverables and impact;
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
