**Location**: Upper Thomson

**Monday to Friday**: 8:30 AM - 5:30 PM

**Responsibilities**:
Identify faults, repair, and test/commission actuators in the field
To modify / upgrade actuators in the field
Carry out inspections checks and PPM on actuators
Carry out mechanical / electrical installation of actuators and associated retrofit adaption components, pedestals, and drive shafts
Complete and submit all documentation accurately and in a timely manner
Assist customers with any technical issues with the product. Liaise with RSS Coordinator, Sales and CSG to resolve customer issues.
Travel as allocated to customer sites, maintain a log of working times and travel
Carry out mechanical, (sometimes electrical) installation of actuators and associated retrofit adaption components, pedestals, and drive shafts.
Produce site visit reports for each job, which are accurate and technically/grammatically correct.
Awareness of different site rules and risks relating to health and safety.
Require to perform lifting and handling of products in diverse/hazardous locations.
Produce risk assessments and review/amend method statements in line with site requirements and the company HSE policy.

**Requirements**:
Technical qualification in mechanical or mechanical /electrical engineering, or a sound engineering background.
Good understanding of basic electronic theories
Experience post apprenticeship or equivalent in a practical engineering environment, preferably in a field-based role.
Ability to read and understand electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic schematics.
Able and willing to meet an extensive travel commitment. Driving license is required.
Technical experience and/or relevant knowledge of valves, actuators, and digital control systems
