We are representing a Global MNC who has a major presence (>1,000 employees) here in Singapore. This is an APAC responsible role for Supplier Quality Management specifically for the commodity of LCD (Displays)

**Principal / Senior Supplier Quality Management Engineer**

**Commodity: LCDs
- Ensure all components are introduced to project schedule and Product Life Cycle (PLC) requirements
- In charge of APQP Management (Advanced Product Quality Planning) at category level (Red, Yellow, Green) in case of responsibility for component introduction incl. necessary risk mitigation measures
- Deploy lessons learned / read across through the SQM Category
- Supplier quality assurance along the complete process chain
- Supplier release and technology release
- Drive and implement preferred supplier and component strategy
- Escalation Management
- Member of Supplier Improvement Programs
- Implement the preferred supplier and component strategy
- Implement Category Quality Requirements
- Lessons learned & read across
- Implementation and control of appropriate supplier quality assurance measures along the complete process chain
- Drive Lessons learned & read across to avoid recurrencies at/and cross supplier
- Interplay on User Experience strategy including Purchasing, Engineering and Operations
- Contribute to cross-functional decisions within SQM targets for Risk Management
- Perform process audits as planned and scheduled
- Secure implementation and compliance to IATF and VDA standards
- Review Lessons learned & read across implementation at supplier

**Job Requirements**
- Degree in Electrical/Mechanical/Chemical Engineering
- **Minimum of 3-5 year experience in Supplier Quality Management of display technology (TFT, LCD, LED, OLED)**:

- Good experience and knowledge about quality system (ISO/IATF16949, VDA6.3 ), tools and external communication
- Experience in Quality Audits (Process, System)
- Able to lead/facilitate process improvements and suppliers' development
- Experiences in continuous improvement, industrial engineering, production, escalation management
- Capability to work with different cultures (NAFTA, ASIA, EUROPE) and able to travel globally.
