Tasks
Assessment and introduction/development of potential new suppliers in close cooperation with Supplier Management & Category Management & also in line with LCD Category and Technology Strategy;
Supplier process development with focus to technology and methology including sub-supplier management in co-work with internal stakeholder
Work with cross functional team (PUR/R&D/SQM) to drive supplier qualifications & technology qualification activities
Gap analysis at supplier and initiating repective action plan
Coaching and challenging supplier processes to accelarate and ensure automotive process readiness with regular on-site presence
Develop manufacturing capabilities, drive FMEA, support Statistical Process Control (SPC) analysis of data, DOE study, lead Lessons Learnt Read Across & drive continuous improvements of suppliers
Drive escalation if execution plan fails
Close collaboration of SQM ASD/SQM CI/ SQM Plant/R&D/Operations (3F approach) for early development activities for approval & manufacturing qualification to achieve seamless component introduction to manufacturability in plants with best optimized process capability/technology limits.
Ensure start-up of new products with Safe Launch Concept (SLC) co work with SQM CI
Release of suppliers by VDA 6.3.process audit
50-60% business travel or work at suppliers sites

**Qualifications**:
Degree in engineering (e.g.Electrical/Mechanical/
Chemical Engineering) with at a minimum of 5 year experience in relevant industry.
Good experience and knowledge about quality system (ISO/IATF16949, VDA6.3 ), tools and external communication
Experience in supporting to perform Quality Audits (Process, System..)
Experience in working with international teams on quality, engineering, operation or supply chain
Good interpersonal and communication skills to interact with colleagues, departments inside and outside company.
Able to travel globally.
