We are seeking a motivated and qualified individual to join us as an **Assistant Manager/ Manager **to provide operational support to the SILE Legal Secretariat. This position entails a combination of responsibilities, including operational management, research, writing, case management, and collaboration with various teams within the Institute.
**Responsibilities**
- Manage the operational work for the implementation of the various recommendations on professional training of lawyers.
- Updating the standard operating procedures for the department, to streamline processes for better efficiency.
- Manage and track the department’s expenses to ensure compliance with the approved budget.
- Develop and analyse statistics/ reports for management.
- Supervise and guide a team of executives.
- Provide support to the Legal Secretariat team including tasks such as drafting and reviewing documents and conducting research.
- Administer and prepare legal documents, correspondence, and memos for the database, incorporating data management tasks.
- Liaising with internal and external stakeholders including legal counsel.
- Tracking and overseeing court dates and attendance.
- Ad hoc tasks as assigned.
**Requirements**:
- Degree in any discipline
- Excellent command of English.
- Excellent research and analytical skills.
- Exceptional organisational and time-management abilities.
- Excellent technical skills in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint).
