JOB SUMMARY
The Director of Sales & Marketing (DoSM) holds a key leadership position in overseeing and managing all aspects of the Sales & Marketing Division. The individual is to contribute a high level of sales and marketing knowledge and expertise for Capella Hotel Group. The DoSM establishes and drives strategic decision in the alignment of the brand strategies, achieving the desired business performance.
THE ROLE
Provides inspirational leadership, clear vision and direction to team members to ensure delivery of the Capella brand, values and vision, to create an amazing experience for our guests and team members.
Communicates expectations, recognizes performance, and produces consistent desired business results.
Ensures and provides flawless, upscale, professional and high-class guest service experiences as a role model and expertise in all Sales & Marketing related matters.
Be an exemplary role model in inspiriting team members through strong demonstration of the Capella Culture and Service Philosophy.
TALENT PROFILE
**Qualifications**:
Degree in Hospitality Business Management or equivalent is preferred
Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Sales and Marketing or Revenue Management
Personal and professional integrity, personable leader and collaborative, adaptable, creative, effective and passionate pursuit of excellence.
Work Experience
Minimum 5 years of Sales & Marketing experience in a leadership role in Luxury hospitality industry.
Experience with international market specifically Europe and Asia will be an advantage.
Technical Skills
Excellent command of written and spoken English
Proficiency in MS Office
Strong communicator with personable character
