Your responsibilities as Last Mile Delivery & Operations manager
1. Carrier Management - Identify, engage, and oversee delivery carriers, conducting market studies, tenders, and sourcing activities for cost efficiency.
2. Performance Monitoring - Track carrier performance, conduct monthly key account meetings, and implement continuous improvements.
3. Market Analysis - Stay updated on last-mile delivery trends and optimize delivery methods by benchmarking industry best practices.
4. Collaboration & Negotiation - Work closely with logistics, customer service, and retail teams while negotiating favorable contracts and SLAs with carriers.
5. Sustainability & Innovation - Optimize routes to minimize CO2 emissions, adapt to market shifts, and introduce new last-mile delivery solutions.
6. Strategic Development - Develop commercial delivery policies, review carrier contracts, and manage annual tenders for pricing, quality, and service improvements.
7. Optimization & Compliance - Analyze carrier performance, conduct safety audits, and refine processes to enhance efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
8. Entrepreneurial Approach - Adapt to a dynamic environment, ensuring seamless last-mile operations through proactive management and strategic tool alignment.

**Requirements**:

- Experience & Expertise - At least 3-4 years in logistics/last-mile industry with a strong understanding of cost-conscious decision-making and P&L management.
- Customer-Centric Mindset - Passionate about delivering the best last-mile experience, committed to users, and driven by a strong sense of service.
- Strategic & Analytical Thinking - Ability to project beyond the next quarter, analyze data, identify opportunities, and take proactive measures.
- Negotiation & Communication - Strong skills in supplier negotiation, relationship-building, persuasion, and cross-functional collaboration.
- Adaptability & Entrepreneurial Spirit - Hands-on, flexible, and able to thrive in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment.
- Problem-Solving & SOP Implementation - Excellent problem-solving skills, ability to think outside the box, and ensure effective SOPs are in place and followed.
