The Cross Border Commercial team’s objective is to price, strategize and manage all cross border products and customised solutions to support various sales channels in growing market share and business.
He/she is accountable for the commercial and integration aspect of the logistics solution and to deal with internal stakeholders frequently (Sales channels, Cross Border Solutions team, XB Tech)..
As a member of the Cross Border Commercials team, the incumbent will be working closely with the Cross Border Commercial lead, Country stakeholders, Country ops and all Sales Channel in driving productization of new last mile & custom clearance products, growth and profitability of XB’s last mile & custom clearance business
The Cross Border Last Mile Commercial Product team is responsible for all Last mile & Custom Clearance products’ financial, commercial and operational performance. They are in charge of the competitiveness of our Last mile & Custom Clearance products and has direct impact on the growth of our last mile & clearance volumes, revenues and profitability. He/She will interact closely with country teams to keep abreast of all new last mile product changes & features and our Intra Asean team on all custom clearance products. He/She will also work closely with all Sales Channels to drive growth initiatives and business development campaigns to achieve topline last mile & clearance targets.
**Responsibilities**:
- He/She will work closely with Sales Channels to develop last mile capabilities through constant feedback loop with country ops and core team
- He/she will work closely with the XB commercial lead to identify strategic initiatives and drive commercial goals
- Lead and establish best practices, templates, policies, tools to expand and mature cross border capabilities for the organization
- Provide forecast & visibility on business growth & opportunities to country teams
- Identify growth opportunities across all Sales Offices’ pipeline and drive initiatives with country teams and XB country ops to bridge market needs
- Serve as go-to market expert on all Last mile products to various sales channel
- Lead discussions with Country teams to optimize lead times to meet SLA adherence & increase market penetration
- Accountable for commercial performance of our last mile products
- Monitor, analyze and review last mile financial performance on a monthly basis including metric such as ASP, ACP, revenue etc
- Strategize standard pricing & campaign pricing and project manage implementation and results
- Present to stakeholders on products’ commercial performance
- Implement and manage change when necessary to meet products’ requirement
- Any other initiatives determined by management
- Lead the discussion and work with Sales Channel to understand Sales’ team requirement and propose transport solutions to meet customer requirement
- Conduct training to increase the knowledge of XB & various sales channels
- He/She will work with Country team and XB Country ops to launch new products and onboard vendors
- He/she will ensure our current solutions are market competitive in terms of pricing & lead times
- He/she will be responsible for pricing and competitiveness of the end product
- He/she will expand breadth of capabilities by bridging various products including but not limited to different service levels
- To be the Subject matter expert for all 6 countries Ninja last mile & customs Clearance
- Manage and align expectations across the team ( Sales Channel and Sales Team, country ops/opex team)
- Responsible for all capability requests raised by sales channel and ensure sales channel are equipped with information to explain and elaborate on rejected requests
- Liaise with local country teams, XB country ops & opex team to ensure business requirements are adequately fulfilled
- Responsible for the gross profitability & revenue of the solutions quoted
- Design and maintain database of cost calculation on transport solutions unique to individual customers
