Last Mile Delivery Driver - Key Roles and Responsibilities

Job Description:

The last mile delivery driver plays a pivotal role in ensuring timely and efficient parcel delivery to customers. The successful candidate will be responsible for collecting parcels from the designated warehouse, leading a team of delivery drivers/walkers to complete the delivery within the specified area, and conducting collection and return to the warehouse on the same day.

To ensure seamless back-end application clearance by the end of each day, strong organizational skills and attention to detail are crucial. The ideal candidate will possess excellent time management skills, enabling them to prioritize tasks effectively and meet deadlines.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Physical fitness to handle manual labor is essential
  • Strong customer service skills are required
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are necessary
  • Able to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and warehouse management software
  • Demonstrated ability to manage inventory and ensure accurate tracking
  • Valid driving license and safe driving record
