As a member of our family-owned business, you will support the regional implementation of pricing strategies in the Asia Pacific region to increase our business’ competitiveness and profitability while meeting the customers’ needs and expectations. As Senior Category Analyst, you will:

Your new job includes
- analyse data from various sources to gain internal, competitors’ and market insights on pricing and assortment, and to share insights with the Regional and Local Category Management teams. You will support the Regional Department Head in translating these insights into a Pricing Strategy that will increase revenue sales and profitability for the region.
- collaborate closely with internal and external stakeholders, i.e., regional and local Category Management, Purchasing, Information Technology, Business Process, and vendor partners, to discuss pricing and assortment analytics and effectively respond to changing market needs and trends including the development of Regional Pricing Database and Dashboard.
- support the sourcing, selection, evaluation and control of price crawling service providers and analytics agencies.
- create, automate and validate newly created pricing reports and develop corrective actions to improve data integrity and quality of price crawling providers.
- monitor the development of pricing analysis methods at respective countries’ including impact to regulations on duties and taxes as well as additional market insights, and industry trends.
- support projects and tenders related to pricing and assortment analytics, competitive analysis and reporting as well as preparation of various reports required by the Management to ease decision making process.

What you should bring along
- a Bachelor's Degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Data Science or a similar field focusing on Analytics.
- a practical experience of at least four years as an Analyst in a commercial role. Regional experience in Retail industry would be advantageous.
- the ability to work with large amount of data to discover patterns and trends and to form conclusions based on data gathered.
- is a strong communicator and effective stakeholder management skills with the proven ability to build and sustain relationships.
- a pronounced can-do attitude, complemented by the capability to multi-task and the flexibility to handle changing requirements in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
