Weekend Front Desk Receptionist

We're looking for a front desk receptionist for our new culinary studio at Orchard Road We're a young dynamic group of people well equipped to work in a fast paced environment where we offer cooking workshops ranging from Thai to Japanese cuisine.
**Responsibilities**:
- Greet and welcome participants as soon as they arrive at the studio
- Direct participants to the appropriate studio
- Answer, screen and forward incoming phone calls
- Ensure the reception area is tidy and presentable, with all necessary stationery and material (e.g. pens, forms and brochures)
- Perform other clerical receptionist duties such as filing, photocopying
- Handle walk-in enquiries and sell our workshops to them
**Requirements and skills**:
- Punctuality
- Experience as a Receptionist, Front Office Representative or similar role preferred but not required
- Hands-on experience with office equipment (e.g. fax machines and printers)
- Professional attitude and appearance
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Multitasking and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks
- Customer service attitude
- No qualifications needed
**Salary**: $10 an hour (with additional commissions and incentives)
Working Hours: Minimum 8 hours a day, ideally available on both Saturdays and Sundays
Location: The Centrepoint, Orchard Road (Somerset MRT)

Part-time hours: 8 per week
