**Job Description**:
**Primary Objective**
- Conduct independent review of existing and new products proposed by RHB SG entities, which includes the Bank and Asset Management.
- Design and execute product risk management process, in line with the strategies and policies of RHB SG / RHB Group as well as regulations.
- Ensure effective monitoring of changes in product environment and timely identification of gaps. Maintain good management practices in mitigating impacts arising from these changes.
- Maintain and update relevant policies / manuals.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Provide Head of Risk Management with initiatives in value creation of niche products.
- Manage orderly running of Singapore Product Committee (SPC) meetings.
- Conduct review and enhancement of all policies related to the governance of the SPC and the secretariat functions.
- Review and enhance product suitability requirements and methodologies for conformance to regulations and RHB Banking Group policies.
- Subject matter expert for product risks, including those related to investment products.
- Conduct independent product performance benchmarking and methodology review.
- Monitor market conditions in relation to events affecting product performance and in case of market disruptions, to ensure timely escalation to Senior Management.
- Coordinate other risk management sections in synchronized participation for product risk management to achieve targeted organizational goals, in tactical and strategic level.
- Communicate and build collaborative relationship with stakeholders, including product teams in business units, operations and processing units /financial reporting units.
- Undertake ad-hoc duties / projects as assigned by Head of Risk Management.

**Qualifications**:

- Qualified degree is relevant disciplines.
- Preferably qualified CFA or other professional qualifications related to investment preferred.
- Experience in private banking/wealth management in product suitability or risk preferred.
- Demonstrate solid product knowledge on investment products and derivatives and ideally familiar with FAA/SFA.
