As part of the global risk, credit & compliance team, the candidate's primary objective will be the contribution to the risk policy setup, credit underwriting competence development and data driven risk innovation to enable business growth. The candidate will be expected to do so through a thorough understanding of the client's profile, supply chain operation and funding pain points, plus deep knowledge of supply chain financing products, solid risk underwriting skills and great passion for data driven risk model innovation to provide high quality & efficiency credit decisions.
Key Responsibilities
Effectively manages regulatory and operational risk exposures for Air8's operations, drives entity level controls and implement internal and external compliances that will result in enhancement of overall Enterprise Risk management
Develop, implement, and maintain risk management frameworks, policies, and procedures tailored to Air8's operations.
Conduct regular risk assessments and scenario analysis to identify emerging risks and recommend proactive mitigation strategies.
Support business units by providing risk-based insights on strategic initiatives, product development, and operational changes.
Assist in ensuring compliance with relevant regulatory requirements, including AML/CFT and data protection laws, by providing risk-based perspectives.
Contribute to risk reporting to senior management and board committees, providing insights on overall risk profile and mitigation efforts.
Promote a risk-aware culture across the organization through training and awareness initiatives.
Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external partners on risk and compliance-related matters.
Maintain awareness of credit risk management principles and assist in identifying potential credit-related exposures as part of the broader risk assessment framework.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field.
Minimum 10+ years of experience in risk management roles, preferably in financial services or fintech
Strong understanding of enterprise risk management frameworks, risk assessment methodologies, and regulatory compliance requirements.
Familiarity with credit risk management principles and practices is desirable.
Proven ability to work collaboratively across different teams and influence stakeholders.
Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
