As a **Thought Machine Engineer** you'd be able to work on and solve some of the many interesting challenges we are facing, learn new ways of working, and build delightful high-quality products for our customers.

**Responsibilities**:
As the Thought Machine Engineer, you will be the specialist Subject Matter Expert on this critical banking tool where you will interact with the product teams, Business Analysts and other technology Engineers performing crucial tasks of translating business requirements into detailed software solutions and specifications through to managing the delivery of these critical requirements.
- Analysing and validating business requirements, translating into technical specifications / requirements.
- Evaluating core platform changes versus client specific requests
- Designing solutions / architecture on the Thought Machine product
- Collaborating with engineering, obtaining a deep technical understanding of the associated roadmap.
- Co-ordinating impact and requirements across projects and other product teams
- Supporting staging and development instances.
- Understanding, investigating, resolving technical queries.
- Prioritising and managing backlog and sprint planning.
- Conducting postmortems and defect management on technical issues.
- Participating in testing, release cycles and QA processes relating to deployments.

In order to be successful at the role, you must have the following:

- 10+ years of overall experience with significant experience as an architect
- 2+ years of experience on Thought Machine specifically on the Vault Platform
- Excellent ability to work cross function and different teams
- Adapts to changes in technology and business domains, has good knowledge of latest trends in the market and is well respected within the team
- Practical knowledge in Agile and DevOps environments, open-source technologies and related tools
- Excellent communication skills and stakeholder experience
