The Role Responsibilities

The role holder is part of Wealth Management Core Platform Hive and participate actively in the delivery of Core Platform Roadmap strategic initiatives as well as lead/support the achievement of Hive OKRs as Chapter Lead.

As an empowered decision maker, the Chapter Lead for the Capability Enhancement (including Client Output, Corporate actions, and the One Wealth Account initiative) & UTS squads is accountable for achieving the Business Objectives of the Core Platform relating to these deliverables. The Chapter Lead works closely with Chapter Area Lead, other Chapter Leads, Hive Lead, Technology Hive Lead as well as Technology partners, lead a team of Product Owners across the Book of work to achieve the deliveries and OKRs

Key Responsibilities include:
Accountable for architecting the Chapter and individual squad's vision and executing the roadmap to achieve the vision

Proactively communicate the vision/roadmap to squads and stakeholders

Accountable for managing the budget by squads

Provide necessary clarity to POs on prioritisation and empower them to make independent delivery decisions in alignment with relevant scorecard metrics

Ensure stakeholder alignment in the Refinement Forum

Facilitate removal of escalated blockers and impediments, including further escalation

Ensure that costs incurred on their product are appropriately capitalised and impaired when appropriate

Ensure the voices of clients and relevant stakeholders are represented

Continuous Backlog management; expressing Backlog items clearly and in a consumable format

Working with Product owners, Scrum Masters and squad members to build an empowered, high performing team in a psychologically safe environment

Ensure all artefacts and assurance deliverables are as per the required standards and policies (e.g. nWOWS, CGP)

Ensure regular engagement and management of Process Change, Operational and Delivery Risk for their backlog (and all other relevant Risk requirements)

Functional Alignment

Maintain strong stakeholder engagement with WM Business, COO/ Operations, T&I, Risk & Compliance and Group Internal Audit to ensure alignment across stakeholder groups to support the tribe deliverables

Ensure appropriate representation across the stakeholder groups in delivery forums.

Escalate appropriately to ensure key stakeholders like Tribe Lead and Tribe Tech Lead are updated and able to intervene as required.

Effectively and collaboratively identify, escalate, mitigate and resolve risk, conduct and compliance matters.

Lead and support a change in mindset, building a culture of client centricity, agility, and accountability through standardised metrics and measurement

Set effective metrics and standards, transparently communicating them to squads

Ensure squad capacity is reviewed to enable delivery of client outcomes.
