**Position Purpose**:
The opening is for a Java Chapter Lead in Singapore, who can lead the Java development chapter in meeting expectation of business needs. He/She is responsible for coaching and mentoring the java developers with the new technology stack and follow the standard & norm of WMIS. He/She is required to conduct meeting and coordinate with transversal team, following WMIS process to assists the team to remove any obstacles.

Java Dev chapter is comprised of members in Singapore and Chennai.

Knowledge and experience in the Wealth Management (Private Banking) domain is a good to have. (Portfolio Analysis, Order Management and Advisory functions).

**Responsibilities**
- Control the quality of the developments done by the team and perform quality reporting and controls in line with BNP PARIBAS standards & security
- Control that sources are versioned and delivered in a controlled and secured way
- Monitor regularly the team’s capacity planning from squads.
- Participate in recruitment and onboarding of new team members.
- Work with Scrum master to ensure that backups are in place within the team
- Control and enforce the compliance of the team members to Organization Process Charter guidelines
- Introduce new technologies or framework to support the business goals and manage the POC whenever needed.
- Propose technical solutions and improvements proactively, based on pros and cons after analysis of the various options.
- Support technical deliveries and support implementation by integration teams following the processes and tools of the bank.
- Provide guidance to the team members on various topics on technical matters.
- Assist team members of the tasks assigned to them from squad.
- Assist Application Owner to address existing technical depth in the Application.
- Assist test team in performance & endurance testing.
- Assist in Technical Architecture Diagram and Application Architecture Diagram preparation for asset documentation needs.
