**Regional Project Manager (Finance)**
The Project Manager (Finance) (“PM”) will work with the Regional Portfolio Leader and other key stakeholders to deliver project initiatives crucial to the delivery of Aon Business Services across Asia Pacific. The PM will be responsible for managing the end-to-end project life cycle of designated finance operations related initiatives and uplifting finance-related knowledge within the Project Management Office (PMO) team.

**What the day will look like**
- Develop project business cases for approval by Regional Portfolio Leader and project sponsor.
- Develop, monitor, update and report on project plans and activity schedules to stakeholders, project sponsor and steering committee.
- Manage delivery of Finance and Finance Operational initiatives (inclusive of cash cycle management); with a particular focus on centralizing, streamlining and simplifying workflow across Asia Pacific.
- Manage all aspects of project activity execution against agreed project scope and objectives. This includes assessing and seeking approval of scope changes as required.
- Manage the performance of all project resources assigned. This includes delivery from external stakeholder such as vendors, IT and local business units.
- Manage all resource and expense related aspects of project within agreed parameters.
- Develop and manage project communications plans to all key stakeholders.
- Develop and manage quality assurance plans for project deliverables.
- Prepare project reporting and provide secretarial services to project steering committee.
- Manage the development and execution of all change management aspects resulting from project implementation, working in partnership with stakeholders.
- Manage and report on all project risks and issues. This includes maintaining a project register.
- Assist Regional Portfolio Leader with strategy assessment and development as needed.
- Uplift finance knowledge/capabilities within the General Project Management team.
- Work closely with Finance partners and other related functions on project planning & forecasting as needed.
**Skills and experience that will lead to success**
- Strong track record in Finance Project Management with at least five years’ experience.
- Financial literacy to prepare project budgets, monitoring project financials and delivering to agreed deadlines.
- Qualifications in finance or a business-related discipline would be preferred.
- Experience in implementing Efficiency related improvements and regionalization of finance workflows would be preferred.
- Qualifications in a formal project management methodology (Prince 2 / PMP etc.).
- Highly effective leadership, coordination, motivational, negotiation and dispute resolution skills.
- Ability to influence and build productive relationships internally across the company and with industry providers to drive desired project outcomes.
- Drive continuous improvement in Project Management to identify constraints and suggest ideas for simplification.
- Collaborative, organized, insightful, and results-driven. Ability to work with ambiguity.
- Experience in agile methodology would be an advantage but not required.
