Data Center Engineer

**Responsibilities**:
- Have a clear understanding of IDC infrastructure, power environment (air conditioning, power supply, temperature, humidity, etc.), able to identify and read equipment data, coordinate with operations engineers to coordinate, track, and handle on-site issues.
- Proficient in troubleshooting, maintenance, replacement, and reporting of servers (eg. DELL, HP, IBM, and other devices) and network equipment (under the guidance of network engineers, complete on-site fiber optic and cable connections involving network equipment in the data center).
- Have a certain understanding of the Linux operating system, able to configure and modify common services and system settings (including but not limited to modifying Linux system configuration files, file scanning, modifying system routes, gateways, troubleshooting network connectivity issues, SSH services, server remote control out-of-band management, etc.).
- Strictly follow client's specified SOP for duty and operations.
- Possess good coordination and communication skills, able to coordinate with client for on-site IDC and emergency events.
- Proactively identify problems and have good stress resistance.
- 7*24-hour emergency response capability, able to quickly respond to on-site emergencies.
**Requirements**:
- Experience in relevant field.
- Basic knowledge in Data Centre domain.
- Able to speak Mandarin in order to liaise with Mandarin speaking associates and customers.
- Shift operation is required (7x24)
- Immediately available is preferred
- Location based in Malaysia
