**About The Role**

Makers Fund is a global interactive entertainment venture capital firm focused on early-stage investments. We are looking for a Fund Operations Director ideally to be based in Singapore.

The Fund Operations Director will be responsible for managing the fund operations in Singapore, Hong Kong together with the finance director, legal counsel, and the General Partners.

This will be a hands-on role, working together with the fund operations and investment teams to ensure high standards and smooth operations of the firm. You will develop a robust and scalable infrastructure to support future expansion of the firm’s business activities and continuous portfolio growth. You will work closely with senior management to ensure that internal operations run smoothly. You will design and implement strategies, plans and procedures. You will also be responsible for scaling up operational capabilities and driving business objectives and collaborate with the various department in the company.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Ensure control, efficiency, and effectiveness of the firm’s operations covering front, middle and back-office functions.
- Support the investment team in leading middle office functions such as performance attribution and portfolio analytics reporting.
- Spearhead changes in fund operations to ensure a scalable fund operation.
- Work with compliance and external counterparties on regulation and compliance matters and relaying these to internal teams and management.
- Coordinate with external providers including compliance agent, fund admin, banks, and tax advisors.
- Coordinate with investment team on financial planning and account management.
- Oversee daily business operations of the company and the work of other team including Finance, Legal, Compliance, Human Resource, and business operations in general.
- Work closely with management team to drive the projects effectively and efficiently.
- Act as a point of contact for the management team direct reports. Triage all incoming requests for the executive’s time and work collaboratively with the management team’s assistant to ensure alignment with the priorities of the company.
- Lead cross-functional strategic initiatives set out by the management team and ensure action items are executed together with all team members.

**Skills and Requirements**:

- Degree in Accounting, Business, Finance or equivalent.
- Minimum 8 years of experience in financial services industry, preferably a stint in asset management, private equity, or venture capital with 3 years’ experience working with C-suite leaders in operations
- Good understanding of financial instruments and asset management industry regulations, market practices and operational trends.
- Experience working with a multifunctional team - investment, legal, finance, tax, compliance etc.
- Open minded, ready to take proactive responsibility and accountability on all aspects of the role
- Familiar with MAS requirements is a plus.
- Proven experience organizing and working across multiple teams and departments.
- A fast learner, detailed-oriented, strong problem-solving skills, excellent in planning and execution with the ability to communicate effectively and perform in a fast-paced environment. High level of integrity and discretion in handling confidential information
