
Procurement Assistant

The Procurement Assistant is responsible to provide administrative support to the Procurement Department in ensuring supply of products at the right quality, prices, and time to meet customers’ requirement.
He/she will handle trade purchasing process as well as maintaining suppliers’ relationships.
- Responsible for full spectrum of purchasing process (sourcing, quotation enquiry, price negotiation, placement of orders and delivery arrangement).
- Generating Purchase Order timely & accurately.
- Negotiate with suppliers in getting the best price and quantity at required timing.
- Expediting of orders to ensure timely delivery.
- Maintain records of purchases, pricing, and other important data.
- Liaise with suppliers on claims for products with issue.
- Collaborate with logistic for delivery and with finance to facilitate payment process to suppliers.
- Work with sales and procurement team in accomplishing duties as needed.
**Requirement**
- A team player with excellent interpersonal and communication skills, attention to details, organized, meticulous and independent.
- Proficient in MS Office, Excel, PowerPoint, and Words.
- Good written and spoken language skill (English is a must)
