We are currently seeking an experienced and visionary Head of Data to join our client’s dynamic team. In this role, you will be instrumental in shaping the future of Data Analytics (DA) and Artificial Intelligence (AI) capabilities within the esteemed company.

**Responsibilities**:
As the Head of Data, your key responsibilities will include:

- Serving as the foremost authority on strategic development in DA/AI capabilities.
- Collaborating closely with internal business stakeholders to identify strategic use cases for DA/AI that align with our objectives and fostering a pipeline of prospective research.
- Establishing and nurturing partnerships with leading academic and research institutions to foster collaborative research projects and explore new opportunities.
- Demonstrating your expertise and standing in the field through publication of research papers, journal articles, thought leadership whitepapers, and speaking engagements.
- Expanding the DA team and establishing our organization as a pioneer in advanced DA/AI capabilities.
- Driving innovation by continually generating and evaluating novel research ideas, drawing insights from cutting-edge developments in DA/AI across diverse business domains.
- Collaborating closely with various business units community to recommend strategic investments aligned with our business objectives.
- Playing an active role in promoting knowledge sharing, driving cultural changes, and supporting our digital transformation journey.

**Requirements**:

- Proven leadership experience in managing corporate DA/AI research and development teams, with a track record of successful collaborations with universities and research institutes.
- Advanced academic credentials, preferably a Ph.D. or Master's degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related field, accompanied by a solid 10-15 years of professional experience.
- Demonstrated expertise and technical prowess across various DA/AI areas, including AI Governance, Deep Learning, Computational Intelligence, Predictive Maintenance, Operations Research, Reinforcement Learning, Simulation, Optimization, etc.
- Experience in strategic technology research, roadmap development, and the ability to identify new opportunities for advancement.
- A sharp ability to rapidly grasp emerging technologies and accurately assess potential partnerships and opportunities.
- Exceptional communication and influencing skills, with a proven track record of interfacing with senior management to drive business and research outcomes.
- Unwavering commitment to upholding professional and ethical standards in all endeavors.
