Overview:
The Head of Attendee Acquisition is responsible for developing and executing strategies to attract and retain attendees for events and conferences. This role requires a strategic thinker with excellent team management and training skills, capable of driving growth and ensuring high attendee satisfaction.
**Responsibilities**:
- **Strategy Development**: Create and implement comprehensive attendee acquisition strategies to meet attendance goals for events and conferences.
- ** Data Analysis**: Utilize analytics to track performance, optimize campaigns, and report on key metrics.
- ** Relationship Management**: Build and maintain relationships with key partners, sponsors, and stakeholders to enhance event visibility and attendance.
- ** Team Leadership**: Lead, mentor, and develop the attendee acquisition team, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.
- ** Training and Development**: Design and implement training programs for team members to enhance their skills and effectiveness in attendee acquisition.
- ** Market Research**: Conduct market research to identify new opportunities and stay updated on industry trends and competitor activities.
- ** Event Planning Support**: Collaborate with event planning teams to ensure seamless execution and alignment of acquisition strategies with overall event goals.
Qualifications:
- Proficient in using Excel for data analysis, reporting, and creating actionable insights.
- Experience in handling large datasets and extracting relevant information efficiently.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret and present data effectively.
- Proven experience in attendee acquisition for events OR excellent customer service.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Familiarity with digital marketing and social media platforms.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and ability to create and manipulate spreadsheets, including advanced functions such as VLOOKUP, PivotTables, and data validation.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a dynamic environment.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
