**About Team**:
The Physical Security department is responsible for the overall security of the company's personnel, physical assets and facilities. Based on security risks, the Physical Security team establishes and continuously improves security policies, procedures & standards, infrastructure, human and technical preventive measures, employee security awareness, alarm and incident response capabilities, etc., to safeguard the company's business operations worldwide.
- Conduct accurate and timely risk assessments of operations across the region. Identify vulnerabilities and recommend appropriate mitigation strategies.
- Mange security operations across multiple sites within APAC regions.
- Conduct geopolitical and threat analysis including the development of travel briefs. Work closely with the Global Security Operations Centre (GSOC) to improve the monitoring, analysis and distribution of travel alerts and intelligence briefs.
- Close cross-functional collaboration with site leadership and key stakeholders, including Admin, Real Estate, IT, Legal, EHS and HR, to ensure effectively
- Support the continued development and maintenance of security policy, process and procedure documentation and ensure compliance.
- Deliver employee induction and security awareness training.
- Support the management of contracted guarding suppliers including the development of standard operating procedures. Ensure continued high quality operational vendor performance in line with KPIs.
- delivery of projects and the ongoing security of existing operations.
- Develop and maintain emergency response plans. Support incident response across the region.
- Support other security programmes, including event security and travel security, as required.
- Oversee and improve physical security incident reporting.
- Perform other relevant tasks as instructed by the Head of Global Physical Security.
- Strong people management skills with a proven ability to manage, lead and inspire a growing multinational team.
- 8+ years experience in corporate security, law enforcement, military, or other relevant security-related positions.
- Bachelor's / Master's degree in a related field is advantageous.
- Experience managing security operations across multiple sites.
- Strong regional knowledge and understanding of geopolitics and threat environments.
- Experience responding to and managing crisis events.
- Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Strong experience identifying and analyzing the present and future security needs of an organization.
- Self-starter with the ability to solve problems often in high-pressured situations.
- Vendor management experience.
- Excellent written skills with experience developing travel briefs.
- Familiarity with security-related tools such as travel monitoring and crisis management software.
- International experience preferred.
- Regional travel is required, sometimes at short notice.
