**JOB DESCRIPTION**

Our client is an international conglomerate with more than $5 billion turnover who is committed to delivering excellence in innovative solutions to their customers. They are looking for a skilled and motivated Team Lead, Data Governance to join their expanding team and to spearhead their data governance initiatives. You will have the opportunity to shape their data governance practices and make a significant impact on the organization’s growth and success.

Reporting to the Head of Data, the incumbent will be working in a Group Data Team whereby he / she will be responsible to oversee and drive data governance and data management. The main duties will include ensuring compliance with data related policies and procedures, defining the key governance metrics, liaising with different stakeholders and leaders to define data policies and standards, managing key issues and escalations, crafting data governance policies, partnering with legal and information security teams to reduce data management risks.

Additionally, he / she will need to leverage on their expertise in the implementation of data governance solutions in areas such as data security management, data quality, advanced data analysis solutions, data lineage, metadata management, and data glossary.

Successful applicants will play a crucial part in the Global Data Team, working at the forefront of innovation across Real Estate, Manufacturing, Logistics, Banking, and Trading industries. **REQUIREMENTS**:

- Bachelor’s degree in [related field, e.g., Data Management, Information Systems, etc.]
- Relevant certifications (e.g., CDMP, DGSP, CIP, CIPP, etc.) would be advantageous.
- Minimum 10 years of relevant working experience in Data Governance function with at least 3 years of management experience
- Prior working experience in Financial institution and / or Multinational environment is preferred
- Deep understanding of data governance frameworks, industry best practices, and data regulations (e.g., GDPR, CCPA)
- Familiarity with data quality management tools and methodologies
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage with diverse stakeholders
- Strong leadership qualities with the ability to drive change and influence decision-making
