This Partner role provides strategic leadership, technical excellence and commercial management of the Business Intelligence (BI) practice.

The Business Intelligence practice provides intelligence and analysis to clients making decisions before deals and partnerships, during investigations and disputes.

This is a client facing business development and leadership role providing a client centric, solution orientated and consultative approach to leading and delivering work for key clients and opportunities across the Southeast Asian market and the Asia Pacific region.

**Tasks and responsibilities**

Business Growth
- Plan for and drive the margin and profit growth of the BI practice by building the client base in Singapore and SEA.
- To support this growth, collaborate across other practices drawing on cross-practice resources, skills and experience to broaden the services we offer to our clients and grow the number of high-value cross practice engagements delivered by the BI SEA team.

Business Development and Clients
- Build the external profile of the BI practice through media, publications and conference addresses, as well as BI specific marketing events and campaigns to make sure that the Company is consistently presented in a strong, positive image to relevant stakeholders.
- Lead business development activities focused on target client groups, particularly private equity, external counsel and corporates.
- Participate in client presentations when necessary to secure client contracts
- Set and communicate business development targets that drive the top line and margin enhancement
- Ensure all key client accounts are managed by yourself or an accountable team member.

Leadership
- Provide direction and leadership to the SEA BI team, ensuring all team members understand the key priorities and strategic objectives of the practice and how their contributions contribute to achieving those goals.
- Through development and feedback, ensure consistency of commercial management, methodology and quality deliverables across the region on due diligence, strategic intelligence, market entry and other intelligence-based risk management projects
- Ensure all team members have clear objectives to develop the practice and their own skills resulting in career progression
- As part of the BI APAC and BI Global leadership, act as a thought leader on strategic BI matters, proactively contributing to the wider regional agenda and prioritising commercial opportunities
- Work collaboratively with the Partner group in Asia to ensure commercial success through a positive and inclusive work environment

Business Management & Innovation
- Scope, pitch, manage and execute complex BI projects
- Support the development of innovative delivery models, products, solutions and services across the team
- Oversee and ensure sound financial and commercial management of the BI SEA team to achieve revenue and profitability targets

**Requirements**:
**Role requirements**

Knowledge and experience
- Proven experience of growing a business and managing a practice of consultants
- At least 10 years’ professional experience including advising commercial organisations on strategic and business integrity risks in Asia Pacific
- Experience working in risk consulting or equivalent
- Demonstrated success in a client-facing commercial role
- Experience influencing people across an organization
- Experience of managing business intelligence projects in an M&A context and providing credible, practical advice to senior clients and stakeholders.
- Demonstrated detailed understanding of relevant international regulations relating to anti-bribery, corruption, sanctions, trade and ESG.

Qualifications and specialist skills
- Degree or equivalent in a relevant discipline and/or professional qualification preferred
- Familiarity with data analysis tools
- Fluent spoken and written English
- Fluency or business level in a working Asian language an asset
- Proficient IT skills
