**Job Title**:Senior Manager - Audit Analytics
**Location**:Bengaluru - Manyata Tech Park

**Business & Team**:The Commonwealth Bank of Australia (Bank) is Australia's leading provider of integrated financial services. They are committed to continuously improving governance practices and ensuring that they are aligned with business, stakeholders and customers’ needs. Group Audit and Assurance (GA&A) are the internal audit function for the Group. Their primary purpose is to provide independent and objective assurance of the effectiveness of the Groups risk management, controls and governance processes. Over the last three years GA&A has increasingly embedded digital assurance into audit activities, using Data Analytics (DA) and Artificial Intelligence (AI) for routine control testing to improve the overall experience for employees.

**Impact & Contribution**:Your role is to perform high quality, risk-focused analytics that provides management with powerful insights for improving the Group’s control environment in line with Group strategic objectives. Assist the audit function to become more efficient and effective via data analytics, AI and automation.

**Roles & Responsibilities**:The role includes, but is not limited, to the following:

- High quality and timely delivery of several Analytics assignments across your given portfolio.
- Lead a small team of managers and analysts to deliver effective analytics.
- Consistently deliver accurate and effective data analytics in line with Methodology and quality standards.
- Work closely and effectively with auditors and teams within GA&A and across CBA to understand the risk and control environment.
- Profile, test and understand data extracted from core business systems to determine the existence of unidentified risks or control failures
- Present results in a clear and concise manner to senior internal and external stakeholders

**Essential Skills**:

- 12 - 16 years of experience in an Analytics role
- Proficient with programming languages such as SQL, python or R
- Demonstrated ability to translate complex concepts into simplified stakeholder key messages
- Proven experience in using best practice across analytics, statistical analysis and measurement, graphic visualisation, data gathering and reporting, data management, risk management, and governance
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate with auditors to solve data challenges as well as draw insights from analysis
- Attention to detail and quality with strong commercial acumen
- Excellent verbal, written communication skills and critical thinking skills
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple deliverables simultaneously
- Demonstrated good team player

**Education Qualification**:Bachelor’s degree/Master’s degree/Ph.D. in Data Science, Machine Learning, Computer Science, Computational Linguistics, Statistics, Mathematics, Physics
