**About Video Creation Team**:
Our team's mission is to empower TikTok users to turn creativity into reality via videos. We build the core video creation product to support tens of millions of TikTok creators every day. All the viral props and effects you find on TikTok are developed by us, via close collaboration with TikTok AR effects and multimedia teams. Our goal is to build the world's best video creation software. On this team, you will be working with our XFN partners to define a world-class video creation experience, designing the architecture of TikTok video creation tools and pipelines, and shipping cutting-edge features to take TikTok to the next level.

**Responsibilities**:

- Set up a new backend engineering team from scratch and support it on career development.
- Provide technical support for engineers in team.
- Align with product and org objectives, coordinate with cross functional and cross global teams on delivering key results.
- Define long term technical roadmap for team.
- Contribute to technical decisions on projects among the product.
- Be a key member in improving architecture to ensure high stability and performance.
- Be a key member in combining strategy power and engineering power together to achieve a better creation and consumption eco-system.

**Qualifications**:

- BS/MS Degree in Computer Science or related major.
- 5+ years of experience in high scalable, highly available, distributed and mission-critical systems.
- Proficient in at least one of the following languages: Go, Python, Java, C++.
- 1+ years of managing or tech-leading a software engineer team.
- Strong software programming capabilities, exhibits good code design and coding style.
- Deep understanding of data structure, algorithm design and analysis, networking, data security and highly scalable systems design.
- Able to work closely with diverse stakeholders and have good communication skills.
- Self-driven, positive, cooperative and willing to keep learning enthusiasm at all times.
