As a Lead Site Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring completion of all site/commissioning activities effectively and cost-efficiently and in accordance with contract specifications, quality standards, and safety requirements. Providing technical solutions to meet current and emerging business/customer requirements. Reporting to Operation Manager oversee all following the standard processes, tools, and techniques for marine Electrical Solutions Projects & provide inputs for improving the process as applicable. Ensuring that commissioning activities comply with, safety regulations and contractual requirements.

**Your responsibilities**:

- Carrying out Site/Commissioning services as per contract with on high quality/on time and on cost
- Ensuring HSE process fully followed throughout the project execution. Conduct RA, Toolbox meeting while working at yard
- Defining site/commissioning tasks and ensures these tasks are performed. Wherever additional resources required, mobilize the resources from service team for performing complete commissioning. Time and cost management is key while making the plan and monitoring
- Evaluating the risk and opportunities management for the site/commissioning activities. Supporting the Project Manager in overall project risk and opportunity assessments, and implementation of resulting actions
- Acting as the ABB technical lead for the Marine & Ports Electrical Solutions projects. Working with customer to shape and deliver ABB solutions and actively seeking feedback with customer to drive and deliver improvements. Attending projects meetings & presents relevant details
- Collaborating with Project Manager / Procurement team to ensure that the technical requirements for equipment or services are communicated and agreed with potential suppliers
- Collaborating with engineering team, commissioning team and externally. Shares best practice across different projects for Marine & Ports Electrical Solutions commissioning
- Co-ordinating with the project team for successful completion of projects. Closely working with Engineering team as well as with stake holder
- Providing technical inputs to sales team & review site/commissioning proposal, schedule for Nextgen Power system (DC Grid system, OMD, Batteries, PEMS). Based on the requirements specified in customer specification

**Your background**:

- Degree / Master’s in Electrical engineering
- Minimum 8 - 15 years of relevant experience in Site Services/commissioning of Electrical, Drive system projects for Marine/offshore & Port drive system projects is desired
- Hands on experience in Site Services/Commissioning services of MV/LV Drives, (ACS800, ACS880, ACS6000) Switchboards, Protection Relay, Generators, Transformers, Motors, UPS, Nextgen Power system (DC Grid system, OMD, Batteries, PEMS). is desired
- ABB AC800M Xa system troubleshooting, and commissioning knowledge is desired
- Knowledge on Marine Systems project commissioning and getting SAT and project commissioning completion is desired
- Knowledge on delivering integrated solution with Drives & Digital solution system
