**Your new company**:
You will be joining one of the top shipping companies in the world. As the business is expanding, they are seeking for a Category Manager to support the growth of the company. They are located in the South-West of Singapore.

**Your new role**:
Reporting to the deputy head of procurement, you will be responsible for:

- Managing all aspects of indirect categories, like IT, MRO, and sustainable procurement
- Managing the supplier relationship management process
- Working with the team to develop benchmarks and comparisons around the market
- Understanding the business needs and aligning them with internal stakeholders to develop category strategy, while mastering the knowledge of market dynamics and supplier’s ecosystems
- Negotiation strategies and contract management activities
- Overseeing the team to ensure work is done in a timely manner

**What you'll get in return**:

- At least a degree in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain Management
- Experience in strategic sourcing
- Category Management experience in indirect categories
- At least more than 8 years in Procurement and 3 years in a category management role
- Possesses a strong knowledge of category and contract management, sourcing strategies and tendering process
- The ability to lead with high positive and change leadership mindsets
