THE POSITION

After a luminous launch in Singapore in 2021, RATIONALE is excited to welcome the opportunity for a passionate and experienced Regional Business Manager to join us and support our continued growth.

As the Regional Business Manager, you will play a pivotal role in creating and executing impactful business strategies and working with high-performing team members within the frontline Sales, Education and Marketing functions of the omni-channel RATIONALE Singapore business.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE

Sales Growth and Marketing:

- Drive sales and manage the profitability across the Retail, Digital and Agency channels
- Obtain commercial insight to strategise, propose and implement revenue-driving activities to support sales growth
- Understand the voice of the consumer and capitalise on this knowledge by working with the Marketing + Brand teams on a calendar of events and initiatives across the omni-channel business
- Act as a conduit between Global Head Office (AU) and APAC Teams, ensure this link is strong & all voices are heard and considered

Talent Development:

- Working closely with HR, play an active role in recruiting and developing highly engaged store teams
- Support your Store Managers in executing all operational inductions and ongoing training

Operations:

- Develop and maintain all operational training across the channel and ensure Store teams are equipped to execute in line with RATIONALE expectations
- Have a strong operational mindset with responsibility for product storage, replenishment and stock accuracy of finished goods and business consumables

Leadership and Culture:

- Engender a positive work culture, focusing your attention on engagement and positive leadership
- Always reflect RATIONALE values of impeccable presentation, setting the example for others through respectful behaviour, the ability to listen, provide sound advice and inspire

THE PERFECT PROFILE

In this role, we are looking for a positive and energetic self-starter with an unwavering passion for skincare, beauty and luxury service.

In addition, you will need:

- Minimum 6 years in a senior sales management position, preferably in the Beauty industry
- A proven track record in sales, preferably in beauty or fashion industry
- A strong understanding of the retail environment with multi-site management experience
- A high level of interpersonal skills with the ability to build strategic working relationships with a diverse range of people
- Retail and/or wholesale rollout experience and a strong understanding of omni-channel distribution channels
- Ability to think strategically as well as deliver operational excellence
- Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills with the ability to negotiate and influence
- Advanced verbal and written communication skills
- Professional English speaking and writing capability required and bi-lingual an advantage
