Lead Infrastructure Engineer plans and designs infrastructure systems. He/She leads high impact projects or operation. He/She coordinates, manages resources and applies the necessary tools and engineering principles to create and design Infrastructure according to the approved process and guidelines. He/She prepares detailed architectural and installation plans, performs technical evaluation of software, hardware and systems follow with recommendation for improvements. He/She manages project resource allocation and develops network engineers on their skills, policies and sets performance expectation. He/She identifies problems and presents new solutions and/or methodologies to key stake holders to enhance and improve the infrastructure operations and maintenance services.

He/she is able to see connections between infrastructure components and propose innovative network solution. He/She should be able to adopts a methodical approach to manage technical resources and communicates well to his/her team and key stakeholder.

Infrastructure planning, design and implementation
- Conceive a technical designs regarding infrastructure capacity, performance, risks
- Participate in the roll out of the infrastructure architecture strategy communication to relevant stakeholders
- Participates in infrastructure architecture strategy development' by conducting technical evaluation of user requirements and business needs
- Plan infrastructure changes and upgrades in line with the infrastructure architecture
- Plan infrastructure implementation strategy
- Advise the business on infrastructure design and implementation related issues
- Anticipate internal and/or external business challenges and/or regulatory issues
- Recommend process, product or service improvements, resource optimisation and cost savings
- Manage deliverables
- Assign team members to projects
- Maintain oversight of complex infrastructure implementation projects end-to-end as required
- Update senior leaders on project status, resource optimisation and cost savings
- Carry out day-to-day project management tasks related to infrastructure planning, design and deployment
- Serve as a technical lead on infrastructure planning and design projects as assigned
- Manage teams
- Develop staff through ongoing coaching, mentoring and career discussions
- Minimum Degree and above
- Years of IT Experience 10-15 years
- Years of Network Experience 10-15 years
- Technical / Professional Skills Certification - CCIE or Multiple Professional Certification or Equivalent
